Anthony is in second grade. Here he is with his Principal, Brad Rumble. Anthony heard his instrument played live for the first time at Esperanza Elementary when he participated in our Secrets of the Heart residency for kindergarten. One of those instruments was the fiddle. Since then, he has participated in three years of our arts immersion programs. This year, he received a scholarship to study violin at the prestigious Colburn School in downtown L.A. At the Colburn School, located just across from the Walt Disney Concert Hall, children and adults train to reach their full potential in music and dance. Next month you’ll meet Valerie, whose dream has taken flight after participating in our programs.
