Secrets of the Heart®TV (SOTH TV), a subscription program, is a standards-based digital curriculum that promotes social and emotional development for children 2-8. Through multi-disciplinary arts experiences that include music, dance, theatre, visual arts and puppetry, children learn universal values that enhance their self-awareness and overall well-being. Concepts like kindness, courage, identity, strength, individuality, compassion, and creativity are “secrets” that help children recognize feelings, learn about themselves and strengthen their relationships with others. Secretos del Corazón is the free Spanish supplement for the SOTH TV curriculum.
Since 2008, Dream A World Education (DAWE) has offered Secrets of the Heart® programs in Los Angeles County and beyond. The digital curriculum has been used in public and private schools during school hours, homeless shelters, libraries, community organizations, museums, and by homeschoolers.
DAWE currently offers Series I for UTK, TK and Kindergarten & Series II for 1st & 2nd grade. Programs feature artists from around the world, animation, original music, and worksheets in English & Spanish. Each series is available in 27, 15, and 8 week program lengths.
Secrets of the Heart® TV curriculum is aligned with the California Arts Standards, National Core Arts Standards, Common Core Standards for language, CASEL Core Competencies (for Social-Emotional Learning), the Social Justice Anti-Bias Standards and Montessori Standards.
